I really liked "A Real Pain". It’s about two cousins, played by Jesse Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin, who travel to Poland and go on a tour that includes a visit to an old concentration camp. So the movie obviously gets dark, but it’s also funny and heartwarming. The cousins hang out and smoke weed together. Sometimes their relationship isn’t pleasant, but I can tell they love each other.
I thought the movie was realistic
Eisenberg also wrote and directed the movie, and he did an amazing job. The story, the acting, the cinematography, the editing, and so on are great. There are a lot of great shots. The concentration camp scene is touching and respectful. During the movie, I was sad at times.
No scene lasted too long
I think I really cared about my cousin. I just love this movie. "True Pain" is definitely one of my favorite movies of the year. I definitely recommend watching it.
