A prequel to the original Dune, which tells the story of how Sister Rossak evolved into the Bene Gesserit. The incident in which Valya Harkonnen voices her comes from an event called “Mentats of Dune.” All three books weave together the evolution of the Sisterhood, the Mentats, the Navigators, and the Suk Doctors. It’s pretty stupid to me how many people complain about this show after a decent pilot.
The quality was okay
I’d give the first episode a 7.6. It wasn’t a masterpiece, but it definitely wasn’t as crappy as some of the stupid reviewers are making it out to be. NO, it’s not like Sex and the City.
Let’s get a few more episodes out first, dammit!
And YES, the whole mission of Benne Ghesserit is about manipulating bloodlines within politics. This is evident in the movies and the books, so what are you giving 1-5 stars for? Don’t rate the show so highly after just one episode.
